Bovine tropical theileriosis caused by Theileria annulata is an economically important disease of cattle in tropical and subtropical countries. Conventional diagnostic methods are unable to identify the subclinical and carrier status of this disease. Molecular diagnostic methods are more sensitive in detection of subclinical and carrier condition on the disease.
