The present study Studies on drought climatology in different districts of Chhattisgarh in the back drop of climate change is carried out to study the drought climatology in different districts. It was found that though the mild drought intensity is less in Mahasamund, Dhamtari and Raigarh districts, the total number of drought years including mild, large, severe and disastrous droughts is more in these districts indicating that these three districts are more drought-prone.
