The key role played by Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK) of India in popularizing oyster mushroom cultivation technology among the rural youths through training and demonstration programmes has been widely appreciated. Evaluation of outcome and efficacy of the training and demonstration programmes conducted by KVKs are necessary to keep the method of transfer of technology in right track. The present study was undertaken to find out the impact of training and demonstration programme conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Barpeta.
