This study in aimed at growth and stability of litchi production in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar with specific objectives of determining trend in area, production and productivity of litchi. India is the second largest producer of litchi in the world after China. Presently in India, litchi is cultivated in an area about thousand hectares with total production of thousand metric tons and productivity of metric tons / hectare.
