Chemical inducers facilitate broad-spectrum of induced resistance against plant pathogens and thus reduced the toxicity of the chemicals used in excess by the farmers for the management of plant diseases. Banana soft rot incited by Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. Carotovorum (Pcc) cause huge economical loss to the farming if infected at an early stage.
