This investigation was conducted with an aim to study the work environment of the workers engaged in ironing clothes and to assess the postural discomfort while performing the activity. For the data collection 20 respondents were selected purposively in the age group of 30-50 years who were actively involved in ironing work. A pre-tested interview schedule was used to study the personal profile, job profile and their work environment.
