Physical properties are necessary for the design of equipment to handle, transport, process and store the crop. Physical properties such as length, breadth, thickness, thousand grain weight, thousand grain volume etc. were studied for three millet varieties such as finger millet, foxtail millet and proso millet which are grown in Assam.
