The purpose of this study was to investigate sub-clinical mastitis in organized dairy farm and prevalence of Staphylococcus aureus with its antibiogram pattern. The present study was carried out at Research Cum Development Project on Cattle, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra. A total of 1296 lactating crossbred cows (5184 quarters) were investigated for sub-clinical mastitis. Samples positive for sub-clinical mastitis were subjected for isolation and biochemical characterization. Isolates that was confirmed as S. aureus were subjected for antibiotic-susceptibility testing.
