A total of 120, day-old broiler chicks were divided randomly into 4 treatment (CRD) groups with 3 replicates each . 10 broiler chicks per replicate. Chicks of treatment T1 (control) were fed basal diet without any supplementation. In the treatment group T2, T3 and T4, basal diet was supplemented with 3% garlic powder, turmeric powder and garlic powder plus turmeric powder, respectively. The feeding trial lasted for 6 weeks viz., 0-3 weeks (starter phase) and 3-6 weeks (finisher phase).
