An experiment was conducted during Rabi, 2016-17 at Pulses Research farm, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur), Bihar to study the correlation and path analysis for grain yield and its component characters in thirty six desi chickpea genotypes. The correlation study revealed that grain yield per plant was found significantly and positively correlated with number of primary branches, number of secondary branches, biological yield, harvest index, 100 seed weight and days to maturity, under normal sown condition. | Correlation and path coefficient analysis for grain yield and yield components in chickpea Cicer arietinum L. under normal and late sown conditions of Bihar India
