A comparative study of socio economic impact on Bt cotton and Non-Bt cotton was carried out in Warangal district of Telangana State during the year 2016. The study was conducted with the objective to evaluate the socio economic characteristics of both Bt cotton and Non-Bt cotton farm households. Jangoan block was purposively selected for the study as it was recorded as highest area under Non-Bt and Bt cotton cultivation.
