This study has an objective to improve the accuracy of production planning of plastic and foam production plants to conform with customers’ demand. This is done by 5W1H analysis and the development of demand forecasting system which suitable for random demand behavior and trends by using 1-year historical data from January 2018 to December 2018. From the study, the suitable forecasting technique is Moving Average demand forecasting technique. From accuracy improvement, forecasting efficiency can be improved by 42%. | Forecasting accuracy improvement for production planning of plastic and foam production plants
