The estimation of quantity and efficiency of the biogas collection systems was made; therefore, concentration and flow monitoring in the chimneys became necessary. Finally, two alternatives for biogas use were evaluated, such as the generation of electricity and its use as direct fuel, from a technical, economic and environmental point of view.
