The main object of this study was to determine the urinary tract infections among dogs that were admitted to the University Veterinary Hospitals at Kokkalai and Mannuthy during 2 year period from 2010 to 2012. A total of 2545 dog cases, 66 cases with clinical signs suggestive of urinary tract infections were selected. The major clinical signs in the study were pyuria, stranguria, haematuria, anorexia, pollakiuria, foul smelling urine or dark yellow urine and emesis.
