A self-propelled multipurpose power unit was developed in the laboratory of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, JNKVV, Jabalpur for small farmers. The prime mower is powered by 5hp diesel engine. V-belt drive is provided for transmission of power from the engine to the traction wheels.
