This study was conducted to characterize virulence genes of Escherichia coli isolates from tuna loins and flakes produced in Côte d’Ivoire. In total, 460 Escherichia coli isolates were analyzed for the presence of diarrhea-associated genes (eae, stx, AggR, elt, and est) by multiplex PCR using specific primers and for their susceptibility to 10 different antimicrobials according to the disk diffusion susceptibility test. | Virulence genes and antibiotic resistance profile of escherichia coli strains isolated from tuna loins and flakes produced in côte D ivoire
