The attempt was made in the study to examine the economics of cultivation of Swarna sub1 rice in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. 60 farmers were surveyed on the basis of those who cultivated swarna sub1. Efficiency of resources in swarna sub1 and swarna cultivation was examined through Cobb-Douglas production function and MVP analysis.
