Sarcoptic mange infestation is a rare condition in sheep, but when the disease occur it leads to development of severe pruritic lesions mostly on non-wooly regions of the body. Incidence of disease is most common among animals reared under intensive rearing system. Being contagious in nature, it affects the entire herd at a given time.
