Acinetobacter species are the commonest pathogens causing nosocomial infections. Acinetobacter is essentially resistant to many antibiotics and they are known to produce extended spectrum beta lactamase and metalo beta lactamase. Aim of the study is to detect Metalo beta lactamase producing Acinetobacter spp. from clinical samples in tertiary care hospital.
