Experiment was conducted to study the correlation studies in heliconia genotypes. Number of stalks per plant showed positive and significant correlations with number of shoots per plant ( and ), number of leaves per plant ( and ), leaf length ( and ), plant height ( and ), number of flowers per bract ( and ), leaf area ( and ), vase life ( and ) and stalk length ( and ) at both genotypic and phenotypic level. Among the genotypes studied, number of shoots exhibited significantly high positive association with number of stalks per plant. Thus, suggesting the possibility of simultaneous selection for this character. | Correlation studies in Heliconia genotypes
