In light of these variables leadership can play a decisive role to the extent that suitable individuals appear in crisis situations individuals who use a visionary and creative leadership which is influenced by the values in which people find themselves. We can speak of a favourable direction in terms of development to the extent that the leadership has the ability to influence social groups to act in a certain way as to achieve certain goals shared by the group.
