Sharp injuries previously known as Needle stick injuries (NSIs) are an occupational hazard for Health care workers (HCWs) contributed by factors like work stress, inadequate experience and training. The aim of the study was to analyse the risk factors for developing sharp injuries and the subsequent measures taken.
