Flowcytometric analysis of T lymphocyte subset viz., CD and CD8 cells in spleen and thymus was done in Nandanam layer chicken of different age groups ranging from day-old to forty weeks. . In spleen, the mean CD4 and CD8 population was found to be the highest at day one and lowest at twenty weeks of age.
