A field experiment was conducted during kharif season 2015 in alluvial soil at farmer field, in village Loharapur, Varanasi, to study the soil microbial biomass, dynamics and selected enzyme activities as influenced by farm yard manure and inorganic fertilizer. The soil microbial biomass carbon; nitrogen and phosphorous was improved significantly with the different treatments. Highest soil biomass carbons, nitrogen, phosphorous were recorded with the combined application of inorganic nutrients and farm yard manure (T7) over the remaining other treatments. | Effect of FYM and inorganic fertilizer on soil microbial biomass and enzyme activities of Indo Gangetic Plains Varanasi India
