Pulses occupy unique place in Indian diet with supplying of vegetable protein to primarily starchy diet and provide an essential supplement for balance diet. Therefore, it is essential to increase the sustainable productivity with more appropriate management of nutrient utilization of plants so that with same area, we can increase pulses sustainable production.
