Dairy farming in India plays a vital role in livelihood security of the dairy farmers. The factors which are major hurdles in increasing farmers income are low productivity of indigenous breeds, inadequate knowledge about balanced feeding and low conception rate through artificial insemination. The present study was conducted in Solapur district of Maharashtra state with the objective of correlational analysis of socio-demographic profile of dairy farmers with knowledge and adoption of animal husbandry practices.
