Sugarcane is a long duration crop experiencing extreme weather conditions like winter, summer and rainy season during its life cycle. The crop faces numbers of biotic and abiotic stresses during their entire growth period. The effect of abiotic stresses especially temperature was observed in large area of sugarcane. Banded chlorosis caused by cold injury (Physiological disorder) and their symptom appears due to a sudden drop in temperature in this crop.
