However numerous assumptions exist about direct effect of hospital safety climate on patients outcomes and quality of care. Aim of the work To investigate whether safe hospital climate influence patient satisfaction and quality of nursing care. Methods Data were derived from 3 tools hospital safety climate HSC patients satisfaction and health care providers questionnaires . Sample of 100 nurses and 95 patients who admitted to Mansoura Emergency Hospital through 1 month were included. Results Total HSC score was low 50 or moderate 50 . Only of the patients were highly satisfied. Total quality of care was low as mentioned by 69 of the nurses. Overall 95 of the included nurses documented fair to high poor patients outcome indicators. There were significant effects of safety climate on patients satisfaction and quality of care. Conclusions HSC significantly influence patient-related factors including as satisfaction and quality of nursing care. Implications for nursing management Better safety climate in hospitals will be associated with fewer errors and better patients outcomes. Key words Safety climate .
