The main purpose of TEMs is to bridge shippers and transport service providers TSPs together in order to facilitate the flows of goods services and information. The application of TEMs in reality promises to reduce transaction costs provide better transport capability optimally exploit goods and diminish inefficiencies in the current transportation and logistics processes. Figuring out the limitation of research related to transportation e-marketplaces in Vietnam this article aims to provide an overall picture of the current context of TEMs in Vietnam via qualitative and quantitative research methods from enterprises viewpoint.
