An experiment was carried out to study the interaction of root knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, Paecilomyces lilacinus, Pochonia chlamydosporia, Trichoderma viride, Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas fluorescence on the growth of black gram. This study was done to investigate the role of some bacterial genera as biocontrol agent against Meloidogyne incognita. Paecilomyces lilacinus significantly increased the growth parameters of the black gram viz., plant height, root length, fresh and dry weight of shoot and roots with significant decrease in the number of galls and final nematode population. |
