The experiment was carried out with the aim of rapid propagation of peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch) plants. The 18 and 24 cm long stem cuttings of peach cv. Sharbati were used as rootstock and peach cv. Shan-e-Punjab was used as scion. The stents . cuttings of rootstock simultaneously tongue grafted with scion cultivar after treatments of IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid viz. 0, 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 mgl-1 were planted in last week of December, 1st, 2nd, 3rd week of January. |
