The seed spices constitute an important group of agricultural commodities, playing an important role in our national economy. During 2012-13 share of seed spices in India‟s spice area and production is and respectively. This study was conducted during the year 2016-17. A total of 28 farmers from different categories were selected purposively from Pana (Bayana) villages of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan for conducting Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs) on their field on fennel crop. Materials for the present study comprised of four high yielding fennel varieties viz, RF (Rajastha Fennel)-205, RF125, RF-145 and RF-101 with the recommended package of practices. |
