A field experiment was conducted at Research Farm, Department of Agronomy; Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi VishwaVidyalaya Jabalpur during 2012 consisting of seven newly developed maize hybrids and one composite variety for yield parameters in rainfed condition. The results of present study revealed that, the yield attributing parameters viz., number of cobs/ plant, grain rows /cob, number of grain /row, total grain /cob, cob weight and seed index were found significantly highest in hybrid Proagro Ly 620 as compared to most of the hybrids. |
