Motivation plays an integral role in the success of learning a new language. However, in some cases, despite having high motivation, learners still find it very challenging to master the language. This is because they may face a lot of constraints in learning the language. This study attempts to figure out the level of English learning motivation of ethnic minority university students as well as the constraints that negatively influence their learning process. Data were collected from the questionnaire with 65 ethnic minority students at Thai Nguyen University of Sciences. |
