Trichoderma spp. is biocontrol agents extensively used in management of fungal diseases of crop plants exhibiting mycoparasitism against a wide range of plant pathogens. Twelve Trichoderma isolates T. asperellum (7), T. harzianum (4) and T. longibrachiatum collected from ten district of from chilli ecosystem were characterized for their antagonistic activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici and Colletotrichum capsici of chilli. The isolates revealed differential reaction pattern against the test pathogens. |
