Millet has emerged as one of the most suitable alternative to minor millet and minor pulses in Bastar plateau zone of Bastar district at Chhattisgarh. However, the productivity of small millet in the Bastar plateau zone is very low. One of the major constraints of traditional millet farming is low productivity due to lack of recommended package of practices and high yielding varieties. To replace this inconsistency of practices, SG College of Agriculture and Research under AICRPSM, Jagdalpur conducted experiments in the farmer’s field. |
