The experiment was carried out to explore correlation and path coefficient analysis in 48 rice genotypes for nine characters viz., days to first flower, plant height, number of tillers per plant, number of panicles per plant, number of grains per panicle, panicle length, thousand grain weight, grain L/B ratio and grain yield per plant. The genotypic correlation coefficients showed higher magnitude than phenotypic correlation coefficients which indicated masking or modifying effect of environment. |
