The experimental material consisted of six generations (P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1 and BC2) obtained from two crosses of rice using three parents laid out in a randomized block design with two replications to study the generation mean analysis for ten characters viz., days to flowering, plant height, number of tillers per plant, number of productive tillers per plant, panicle length, number of filled grains per panicle, total number of grains per panicle, 1000 grain weight and single plant yield. |
