The objective of this study was to enhance the production of α-amylase enzyme in some Bacillus strains through mutation techniques because of the exponential increase in demand for their usage in various fields. Seven Bacillus strains; B. licheniformis, B. alvei, B. thuringensis, B. subtilis, B. pumilus, B. circulants, and B. cereus were used in this study.
