In this paper, a very simple procedure was presented for the synthesis of WO3 nanoparticles by hydrothermal treatment at 180 ◦C for 48 h using sodium tungstate and hydrochloric acid as starting materials. As-obtained WO3 nanoparticles were characterized by field emission electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). |
