The present study was carried out to know the prevalence of superficial fungal infection caused by dermatophytes and to speciate them which may help to control the infection. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of superficial fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes, to study the clinic-mycological pattern and to speciate the isolated ones using standard mycological tests.
