During the recent time the solid waste management in urban areas has seen many positive changes. However in many rural areas despite being paid attention by the authorities and mass organizations the solid waste management is still inadequate the collection rate is only 40-50 rural solid waste collection and transportation model is not effective. Rural domestic solid waste management especially in suburban areas of big cities is currently a hot issue. The article deals with CTR Management Current situation of solid waste management in urban and suburban areas From there give some solutions to improve the effectiveness of urban solid waste management from the perspective and goals to the solutions on classification collection and treatment Solutions on mechanisms and policies technological solutions to organizational management propaganda and awareness raising solutions. Through the article it can be seen that successful solid waste management in suburban areas requires a comprehensive solution from mechanisms and policies mobilizing many social resources to participate the roles and responsibilities of Ministries branches and specialties of local governments and an indispensable role are the participation of the community. 1.
