Successful construction and development of the peri-urban agriculture model not only meets the needs of the people for food fresh and safe food but also meets the requirements of urban landscapes increasing green space. The article introduced some experiences of developing typical suburban agricultural models across the country such as Model of agricultural production in the direction of modern industry combined with trade in services and rural tourism in Minh Khai village Nam Tu Liem or a model of growing clean vegetables in Long Bien district Hanoi safe vegetable growing model in Ho Chi Minh City Agricultural urban models in Binh Duong Da Nang Da Lat . These are models that have been developing and are good lessons for other urban areas of Vietnam in the process of forming and developing economic models for a sustainable suburban area.
