In industry, one of the most important manufacturing processes that is machining. In machining processes, two machining processes that are often used to remove the material out of workpiece are turning and milling processes. This study mainly reviews the most important issue in turning and milling process including the cutting force modelling, vibration modelling. Modeling of the cutting forces and vibrations that can be used to predict the cutting forces and vibrations in different machining processes with different cutter geometries, different workpiece materials, different cutting conditions, and different machining-tool systems. |
