In the present work, we prepared MnFe2O4/ and MnFe2O4/ composite nanoparticles by the hydrothermal method. We show that as compared to their singlecomponent, the two composite nanoparticles have much higher SAR values by 2 times, although their saturation magnetizations are not much different. Our results provide an alternative approach to enhancing the SAR of magnetic nanoparticles for magnetic hyperthermia. |
