A study on utilization pattern of farm ponds constructed by the farmers was conducted in Kalyana Karnataka region of Karnataka state (India). The Kalyana Karnataka region includes the six districts of North eastern part of Karnataka state viz. Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir, Raichur, Bellari and Koppal districts. Among the six districts of Kalyana Karnataka, Raichur district were selected for the study by considering the highest number of farm ponds constructed by the farmers. |
