Klebsiella is an opportunistic bacterial pathogen of man and animals known for presence of diversity of Anti Microbial Resistance (AMR). The present study was undertaken to isolate and study the anti-microbial resistance in Klebsiella isolates from cattle and buffaloes. Sixty (60) samples, comprising of 33 mastitic milk and 27 diarrhoeic faecal samples were collected aseptically from cattle and buffaloes. From these 60 samples, 11 () Klebsiella species were isolated and identified on the basis of cultural, morphological and biochemical characteristics. |
