Aloe vera has a long history as a medicinal plant with diverse therapeutic applications. This study determined biochemical composition and enzymatic activity of Aloe vera leaves. Five genotypes of aloe vera leaves were analysed biochemically and enzymatically. Germplasm IC-112517 showed maximum gel percentage ( %), maximum moisture percentage () and IC-112527 contain maximum per cent of carbohydrate (), total mineral () and total sugar content () and total chlorophyll content ( mg/gm). |
