In the present study, seven okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) cultivars were evaluated for their resistance against M. incognita under field condition. Among seven cultivars none of the cultivars were found completely resistant. The cultivars ArkaAbhay and Anoop were found to be moderately resistant to M. incognita with root-knot indices of (11 to 30 galls) at 60 days after sowing and at harvest. Arkaanamika, Usha, Rashi-20, Akshay and Solar-10 were found susceptible to M. incognita with root-knot indices of (31 to 100 galls) at 60 days after sowing and at harvest. |
