The study was conducted on 120 trainee’s rural women in Madhya Pradesh state to ascertain their socio-economic characteristics. The socio economic involvement of women is related to their status and role in the family and the society. Women is the back bone of agriculture, comprise the majority of agricultural labours in Madhya Pradesh. It is recognized that women’s participation in income enhancing activities to increase their socio economic status and power in the society. |
